What should you do with your Leftover Easter eggs?

Now, we all know that children especially, get way too many Easter eggs and they never get eaten! At least not all of them anyway! Or, children especially, will open their Dairy Milk Freddo’s and half way through that they’ll spot that KitKat egg they’ve not yet opened. What do you do with that half eaten Freddo Easter egg? Here’s some tasty choices of chocolate heaven that, we can assure you, will not go to waste.

Giant Chocolate Buttons:

Exactly what is says on the tin! Melt the eggs and make little buttons, wait for them to dry and voila! Best thing about these is that you can mix whatever you like with the chocolate before you make them into buttons. Personal favourite? Smarties!

Chocolate Birds Nest:

If you don’t know what these are, have you been living under a rock?! Mix your melted chocolate eggs with Rice Krispies, pour the mixture evenly into paper cake cups and just wait for the chocolate to cool!

Chocolate Bowls:

Would you believe us if we said you need balloons for this recipe? Simply blow these balloons up and dip into the melted chocolate. Wait for the chocolate to dry, pop the balloons a fill these chocolate bowls up with anything you like! Best thing is, there’s no washing up, you can eat your bowl!!

And then of course you can add your chocolate into any cupcake or brownie recipe. The limits are endless! (And very delicious)
