Behind the Scenes – Meet our team

Sales Team Episode 1

We here at Rectella (Bar-Be-Quick) take our customer experience very seriously and so we thought you might like a glimpse in to the magic that is our wonderful company.

By creating this series of blogs we are giving you the chance to meet our team and learn a bit more about them.
What better way to start then with our lovely Head of Sales…

Name: Caroline Morris
Department: Sales
Where are you from: Clitheroe, Lancashire.

What was your first ever job?
As a Saturday girl in my aunties department store (Dawsons) They started me off as chief shelf duster before moving me into stock control, stock rotation and finally on the till – in sales!! Where my love of sales began, as an eager 14-year-old 😊

What’s your role at Rectella?
Head of sales and business development

How long have you worked for Rectella?
16 years

How do you describe your role to your friends?
I sell (ethically and environmentally approved) burnt wood

What is the least rewarding part of your role?
Nothing!  I absolutely love my job – no day is ever the same

What’s the best part of your role?
The variety, the team – peoples work ethic and flexibility to their role.  I love being part of a growing and successful company who put the customer at the heart of everything we do.  It’s a privately owned firm which allows for quick decision making and autonomy within your role

If you could switch roles with anyone at Rectella, who would it be?
Design – I’d get to colour in for the day (this is a joke Steve, Simon and Chloe!!)

What are 3 words to describe Rectella?
Innovative, energetic, honest

What is on your wish list for the next 10 years at Rectella?
Continued brand growth, reduced plastic usage and a happy, healthy workforce

What is your favourite part of working for Rectella?
See above – ‘what’s the best part of your role’

What is your proudest moment at Rectella?
When we became the World’s First supplier of Fairly Traded Charcoal – being involved in a project that allows us to change the lives of others is a very humbling experience.  Watching the project evolve and the difference it made to our workforce in Namibia is amazing and fills me with immense pride.

Tune in next week to meet our Key Account Managers
Melanie and Emma…
