Cook your next steak perfectly plus looking good using this BBQ tip.
Set your grill for direct cooking and allow the grate to get fully heated, all vents fully opened if you have them. Make sure your steaks are at room temperature and NOT straight from the fridge other wise they won’t be cooked in the middle.
Lightly oil both sides of the steak with olive oil or similar and season with salt, leave the pepper until its cooked as it can taste bitter if burnt when grilling.
Have a set of tongues to turn and a timer ready and cook each side exactly the same to enable even cooking,
Also remember to render the edge inbetween cooking the sides.
Remove from the grill when done and rest for 3-4 minutes wrapped in foil.
